What it costs in duty and tax to land a generating set

Freight and unit price move constantly. The tax stack does not. This section sets out, per destination, exactly what a customs entry on a diesel generating set attracts: the tariff heading that applies, the duty rate, every levy, what each one is charged on, and the conformity certificate you need before the unit sails.

How these pages are built

Every rate here is read from the published tariff schedule or the relevant Act, not from commentary, and each lane carries the date it was last checked. A destination only appears once we have read the primary document for it. We would rather publish three lanes we can stand behind than twelve we cannot.

Why there are no prices here

There are no prices on these pages. What a generating set costs depends on rating, specification and the day, so it belongs in a written quote rather than on a web page. What does not change month to month is the arithmetic a customs entry runs, and that is what this section is for.
